Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior DFH Detailer with proven
COMSENSE
proficiency to manage complex commercial projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed shop drawings and submittal packages using
COMSENSE
software
- Review architectural drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors
- Develop hardware schedules and door schedules
- Perform material takeoffs and quantity calculations
- Review and validate project specifications
- Mentor junior detailers and provide technical guidance
- Maintain project documentation and revision control
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial DFH detailing
- Advanced proficiency with
COMSENSE
software
- Strong understanding of building codes and ADA requirements
- DHI certification preferred
- Experience with hollow metal frames, wood doors, and architectural hardware
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Technical Skills:

Work Environment:
