With a focus on quality craftsmanship, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction, we are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team and help us continue to build with precision and integrity.

Position Summary:

The Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes Prepare and present bid proposals and cost reports to project managers and clients Assist in value engineering and cost control processes Maintain current knowledge of market conditions, material costs, and labor rates Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients throughout the bidding process Occasional visits to active or future construction sites to monitor project progress, communicate with subcontractors/suppliers or assess site details for bidding purposes

Qualifications:

Required Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills Familiarity with architectural plans Understanding of construction processes Proficiency in Excel and Word Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with others in a team environment Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator (commercial or residential) Proficiency with estimating/takeoff software (e.g., Square, Buildertrend, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, etc.) Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
