Steel Estimator
gpac is partnered with an structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator completing projects for a variety of industries utilizing structural steel construction. They are seeking an experienced Steel Estimator to add to their growing team. Qualifications for
Steel Estimator:
Successfully estimated and won projects in the $1M-$10M range
Experience estimating with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or Planswift software
Knowledge of current AISC and PCI codes and standards
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
Ability to calculate costs and prepare estimates
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities of Steel Estimator:
Prepare and review estimates for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate and communicate with team members
Develop and maintain relationships with clients
Manage and monitor project budgets and schedules
Monitor and review changes in project scope
Ensure all materials, labor and equipment costs are accurately included in estimates
Prepare accurate material take offs
Assist in developing and implementing cost-effective strategies
Compensation/Benefits:
$60,000 – $90,000 base salary (DOE)
