Job Title:
Civil Estimator
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience estimating heavy highway and bridge construction projects. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, analyzing project plans, and collaborating with project managers and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier quotes.
Use estimating software tools to compile data and reports.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience estimating heavy highway and bridge projects.
Proficient in HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience working with DOT and public infrastructure projects.
