The Millwork Estimator will work in our Millwork Division located in Goodbee, LA. near Covington. RESPONSIBILITIES

The Millwork Estimator must have at least 5 years of estimating experience with proven results. Able to solve problems, generate ideas, and make improvements. Must be self-motivated, organized, productive, and punctual. Must be professional in ability to speak effectively with contractors, architects/engineers, clients, and all employees in the organization. The Millwork Estimator will follow all 5-S Lean Workspace standards and safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS

: Responsible for submitting bids on time and by bid deadlines. Review and analyze pricing before submitting proposal. The Millwork Estimator will compile detailed and accurate take-offs using our new millwork estimating software called Trade-Soft. This will include acquiring updated pricing and developing complete and precise estimates ready to review with the Fabrication Manager prior to submitting a bid. Develop a list of contractors ahead of time that we will be sending our bid to. Read and understand all bid documents. The Millwork Estimator must have the ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications. The Millwork Estimator will run the “hand-off” meeting held with WMG management. Price all Change Orders and submit to our Project Managers. Knowledge of computer operations and the following applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, ability to learn our new estimating software, Trade Soft.
