Salary:

$85,000 – $135,000 per year A bit about us: As a company, we are apremier mechanical contractor & engineering firm that excels inHVAC systems. For over 30 years we have built a reputable name inthe industry and a strong track record for our customers. Due togrowth, we are looking to add a skilled Electrical Estimator to theteam. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experiencein electrical estimating, with a strong understanding of electricalsystems, cost estimation, and project management. The ElectricalEstimator will be responsible for preparing accurate andcompetitive estimates for electrical projects, ensuring that allcosts are accounted for and within budget. Why join us?

Job DetailsResponsibilities:

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates forelectrical projects, including labor, materials, equipment, andsubcontractor costs. 2. Utilizing estimation software such asConEst and Accubid to generate accurate and comprehensiveestimates. 3. Designing and drafting electrical systems using CADsoftware, ensuring adherence to all relevant codes and standards.4. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and otherdocumentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates. 5.Assessing cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services,tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. 6.Evaluating and managing bids from subcontractors, ensuring theymeet project requirements and standards. 7. Collaborating withproject managers, engineers, and clients to understand the scope ofwork and deliver solutions that meet their needs. 8. Maintainingknowledge of current industry trends, codes, and regulationsrelated to electrical systems and fire alarm systems.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering ora related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in electricalestimation 3. Proficiency in estimation software such as ConEst,Accubid, or an alternative. 4. Strong knowledge of CAD fordesigning and drafting electrical systems. 5. Understanding ofelectrical systems, fire alarm systems, codes, and standards. 6.Proven experience in preparing accurate estimates, including labor,materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. 7. Exceptionalanalytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearlyconvey complex information to a variety of audiences. 9.
