Manufacturing Engineer and Cost Estimator Mueller Coatings 530 Spring Street, East Bridgewater, MA 02333 We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer / Cost Estimator to join our growing team. If you’ve got a knack for optimizing manufacturing and a sharp eye for cost details!

Essential functions and responsibilities:

Evaluate production processes and provide solutions and Coordinate Process Improvements 6’s and Lean Programs Oversee Cost Estimating activities. Member of the safety team Evaluate and make recommendations on tooling setup and methods Support to Operations Manager, Manufacturing Supervisor, and Production floor. Support Customer Service and Sales Interpret blueprints, drawings, sketch of customer products or parts to coated Provide accurate quotes and lead times to customers per company standards. Analyze machine run time, labor requirements, raw materials and other factors that could affect manufacturing cost. Convert current work instructions and travelers to ensure they are accurate. Document changes if required, then convert to ERP and Work Instruction Software Create routing of products throughout the manufacturing process utilizing ERP (ECI Joboss2) estimating software. Create work instructions using (VKS) work instruction software Provide support to the manufacturing departments to ensure that processes and quality standards are Review existing routings to maximize company profits. Establish and maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with production personnel and supervisors. Communicate clearly and respectfully with fellow team members and team leaders on daily production issues, work orders and project completions at the beginning and end of each shift.

Qualifications required:

• 5-years’ experience as a manufacturing engineer / cost estimator
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to be well organized and the ability to prioritize to make good decisions, and multi-task.
• Ability to work independently and have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other team members and facility leadership.
• Communicate with customers and vendors.
• Must be able to communicate and read in English.
• Ability to maintain professional and appropriate conduct.
