Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Concrete Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating commercial ground-up concrete projects and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the industry. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide accurate and competitive estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial ground-up concrete projects
Analyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents
Conduct material take-offs and cost analysis
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and pricing
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in commercial concrete estimating
Strong understanding of ground-up commercial construction
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Compensation & Benefits:
$120,000 – $150,000+ (Based on experience)
