Estimator – Heavy Civil Position Overview We are seeking a Civil Estimator with 5+ years of heavy civil experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects Conduct takeoffs from project plans and specifications Utilize estimating software such as HCSS to generate accurate estimates Analyze geotechnical reports and assess resource availability Develop project schedules and proposals in collaboration with project managers Stay informed about industry trends and winter conditions that may impact project costs Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors to ensure competitiveness Required Qualifications 5+ years civil estimating experience HCSS HeavyBid experience Agtek/Procore (or similar) Ability to perform a quantity takeoff Preferred Qualifications 3D-modeling experience a plus Familiarity working in winter conditions a plus Strong safety background Utility experience Benefits Company vehicle Medical / dental / vision insurance Insurance (Life, short & long term) Safety equipment allowance + training PTO 401k Bonus opportunity Email Your Resume In Word To Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
