Retirement Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Scaffolding Labor and Equipment Estimator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for labor, materials, and equipment costs associated with scaffolding projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction practices, scaffolding systems, and industry regulations, and will play a key role in helping the company secure profitable work.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and site conditions to determine scaffolding requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, equipment, and materials. Visit job sites to assess access, safety considerations, and scope of work. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop scaffolding solutions. Prepare and submit accurate bid proposals and quotes. Track historical costs and maintain databases to support future estimates. Identify potential risks and propose cost-effective solutions. Monitor changes in project scope and revise estimates accordingly. Stay current on industry trends, pricing, and regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in scaffolding estimating, construction estimating, or a related role. Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems (frame, system (PERI-UP), tube & clamp, etc.). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and scaffold safety standards. Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Proficiency in estimating software, MS Excel, and project management tools. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in scaffolding or construction estimating. Certification in construction estimating or scaffolding safety is a plus. Background in project management or field experience in scaffolding.
