Summary/Objective A General Construction Estimator for Century Construction Group, Inc. is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate cost estimates for construction projects. They work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand the scope of work, identify the materials and labor required, and develop a detailed budget. Estimators also play a key role in the bidding process, ensuring that the company’s bids are competitive and profitable. An Estimator reviews and analyzes blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to fully understand the scope of work. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Estimate the cost of materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required to complete the project. Prepare and submit bids for construction projects. Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best possible prices. Monitor project costs and make adjustments as needed. Prepare progress reports and cost updates for clients and project managers. Stay up to date on the latest construction trends and technologies.
