Summary Job Description:
Bindewald Maintenance is seeking a skilled Construction and Commercial Estimator to join our team. This role is critical in preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, scheduling/planning and supporting our clients with budget planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and industrial estimation, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and project teams.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, itemized take-offs, schedules and budgets for projects, including materials, equipment, and labor costs. Provide clients with preliminary budget estimates to assess project feasibility. Assist in preparing bids for new contracts, determining costs, and submitting final cost estimates. Revise estimates and budgets based on changes in project specifications or market conditions. Offer guidance on cost-saving strategies while maintaining project quality. Stay updated on construction material costs, labor rates, and building codes/regulations. Conduct site visits to better understand project scope and requirements (as needed). Ability to create pay apps
Requirements:
Proven experience in construction estimation. Proven experience in commercial estimation. Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor rates, and building codes. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and with team members and meet deadlines. Salary:
Base pay of $75,000 to $90,000 annually Company Truck provided with clean driving record
