In this role, you will support preconstruction and estimating efforts across a wide range of commercial projects including schools, municipal buildings, and healthcare facilities. From initial takeoff to bid day and beyond, you’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and design teams to produce accurate cost projections and support both hard bid and conceptual estimating efforts. This is a hands-on position where you’ll contribute to every stage of the preconstruction process and have the opportunity to work on impactful community-focused builds. Construction Estimator (Commercial Construction exp req) Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid packages for commercial projects Conduct takeoffs for self-perform scopes including masonry, concrete, and carpentry Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews for accurate pricing Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct job site visits for field validation Issue bid invitations and ensure strong coverage across all trades Support preconstruction efforts including conceptual budgeting and design-build estimating Review project drawings and specs to ensure scope clarity and bid accuracy Collaborate with architects and engineers to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies Participate in hand-off meetings to support a smooth transition to project execution Construction Estimator (Commercial Construction exp req) Qualifications 4+ years of construction estimating experience required 2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience required Estimating and Takeoff software experience required Experience with projects ranging from $500K to $50M required Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and project drawings required Proficiency with MS Excel required
