The Construction Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring that all aspects of the construction project are accounted for. This role requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of construction processes and project management principles. The ideal candidate will have background knowledge in estimating projects such as commercial buildings, specifically doors and hardware: Schools/malls/hospitals Temp to Hire working on 1st shift 50-65K annually Responsibilities Review project plans and specifications to determine project requirements. Prepare accurate cost estimates using estimating software. Analyze project costs and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate estimates -Provide support during the bidding process. Provide accurate take-offs for door frames and hardware. Participate in project meetings to provide cost estimates and analysis. Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and change orders. Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience as an estimator. Experience using estimating software (Avaware is the software) or similar software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. #KM1
