THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

Prepare and present bid proposals. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and address any concerns. Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary data for accurate estimating. Develop detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Provide input on value engineering and cost-saving measures to enhance project efficiency and profitability. Maintain accurate records of estimates, bid documents, and project correspondence. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or a related field is preferred. 5 + years of experience in Commercial Mechanical Estimating. Experience with estimates for design-build projects is preferred. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
