We are seeking a

BILINGUAL

(ENGLISH & SPANISH) detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and cost control. This role involves analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate estimates, and collaborating with homeowners or project managers to ensure successful project execution. The Construction Estimator will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers, as well as making them feel comfortable with their budget. Responsibilities Logging every quote into the system Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on blueprints and specifications. Utilize software tools such as TakeOff and Excel / Microsoft Office for efficient estimating processes. Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimates and assess project feasibility. Create material/labor costs analysis reports Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and timelines for construction projects. Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Analyze historical data to improve the accuracy of future estimates. Create job log upon contract, and creating project folders schedule in estimates accordingly Manage fill-ins and material orders, keeping regular inventory Work with Accounts Payable to create job costing sheets Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is required. Proficiency in construction management software Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. Solid knowledge of cost control measures and project management principles. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs.
