We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Job Description:
As a Mechanical Estimator at Ace Fabrication, you will play a crucial role in evaluating project costs and preparing accurate estimates for our custom pharmaceutical components. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure precise and competitive pricing for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to determine material, labor, and equipment costs Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom pharmaceutical components using our ERP system Collaborate with engineering and production teams to assess project feasibility and optimize costs Research and evaluate supplier quotes for materials and equipment Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality Maintain accurate records of estimates and project data Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and manufacturing processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Engineering or Technology, or related field – or equivalent work experience Strong analytical and mathematical skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Familiarity with CAD software and reading technical drawings Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with ERP systems is a plus
