Estimator – Construction RetroAim LLC, dba Retro Insulation Sanford, NC 27331
Job Summary:
RetroAim LLC, dba Retro Insulation, is looking for an energetic team player to join our fast-growing team in the Sanford, Raleigh, North Carolina region. We are looking for someone to work in an office environment to perform material take-offs and cost estimates for insulating mechanical/HVAC duct, pipe and plumbing systems. Use project drawings, specifications, scopes of work to estimate quantities, apply unit pricing for material & labor for entire insulation scope in compliance with project requirements. Primary Duties Include:
- Understand scope of work to be bid
- Maintain accurate pricing from all suppliers
- Use estimating software to generate take-offs and estimates
- Manage electronic work products effectively
- Ensure estimates are completed and provided to customers on time
- Perform quality control of cost estimates
- Develop relationships with customers and fellow estimators to promote collaboration
- Evaluate job costs and historical estimates to focus on constant improvement Additional duties include:

- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Prior experience in construction estimating highly desired, not required Vocational/Technical Education at High School level desired, not required Able to read/interpret construction documents and develop cost estimates Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Prior experience with estimating software highly desired (i.e. BlueBeam, AutoCAD, FastWrap, MIKE10, etc), not required
