  We are seeking an experienced Controls Estimator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for control systems and automation projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness in bid proposals. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our construction and mechanical building systems initiatives. Key Responsibilities Prepare and present accurate cost estimates for automation and control system projects.
Conduct takeoffs from plans and specifications to determine project scope and cost.
Analyze bid packages and prepare detailed reports for management review.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project requirements and deliverables.
Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical information.
Review and validate estimates with project teams to ensure alignment with project expectations.
Monitor industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive estimates. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating for construction or mechanical systems.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools for takeoffs and bid preparation.
