Job Description

Job Description The Estimator/Coordinator is responsible for creating appliance project proposals by reviewing project plans, blueprints, specifications, and other construction related documents. The Estimator/Coordinator is responsible for compiling and analyzing data on all the factors that influence cost such as materials, labor, location, and duration. Cross-functional collaboration, strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are critical for success in this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for Pre-Sale project bidding activities Leads development, management, and coordination ITB Bid and Bid Board Management Project Take offs/Estimations Product crossover matches Quotation proposal and maintenance/updates when requested Submittal Package creation Ongoing proposal maintenance and management of

SD, DD, CD, GMP

bidding transitions SAP quoting, maintenance, & workflow 30 day bid follow ups to gain competitive intel for national sales team Value Engineering/Upgrade Options creation Contract Coordination – Internal cross-functional collaboration to align on acceptable contract terms Align with AR/Credit on payment terms, payment process, credit needed Align with Risk on insurance/COI terms and certificates, request updated COI’s when expired Align with Legal on contract terms/negotiations/amendment adjustments External communication and negotiation on acceptable contract terms Manages compliance through completion and coordinates fully executed documents Assist BAM’s with pre-delivery builder site meetings and first calls to drive compliance with Scope of work Site readiness Punch list process Proof of delivery and sign off procedures Attendance on First and Last calls to assist BAM on start and closeout of project

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Working knowledge of the Appliance/Builder trade experience, and multifamily Industry experience preferred Sales or Sales Operations expereince preferred Ability to work and collaborate with internal cross functional teams Comfortable working and communicating directly with builders and contracts Applicants should possess competence selling indoor appliances to builder markets. Ideal candidates should have high energy level and exhibit exceptional interpersonal and selling skills. College Degree preferred. Extremely proficient in excel and PowerPoint

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

Preferred applicants should be mature and balanced with a verifiable record of high performance and exceptional reliability. Preferred candidates should support product-knowledge learning and intense product interest and commitment. The ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner as well as gather and analyze information skillfully. Candidates should poses the ability to clearly communicate in a persuasive manner in both positive and negative situations. Finally, the candidate should have strong presentation and negotiation skills.
