Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for metal building erection projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction estimating, especially in steel structures or PEMBs. Responsibilities Analyze construction drawings and specifications to prepare detailed estimates. Calculate material quantities, labor hours, equipment needs, and subcontractor costs. Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes. Prepare formal bids and proposals for clients. Work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition from estimate to project execution. Track and update cost databases and maintain pricing accuracy. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, and project reviews as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of estimating experience in steel erection or metal building construction. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar). Strong math, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects. 2 Years of Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus, but equivalent experience is welcome.
