The Estimator will support the Estimating team in all aspects of estimating, including quantity take-offs, pricing, and bidding for heavy civil construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Attend pre-bid meetings Bid package review (Plans, Specifications, CAD, Geotechnical Report, etc.) Detailed quantity takeoff and summary (Earthwork, Utilities, and Paving) Communication with clients for bid requirements Bid file document control Vendor and Subcontractor solicitation and quote review Develop and complete estimates for projects Work with clients on preliminary project budgets Maintain existing and develop new client relationships Pre-construction budgeting and turnover Assist with training of junior level estimators Some travel, including overnight required (
