Responsibilities Generate leads by building new relationships and fostering existing relationships Attend networking events Follow up with current and former contacts regularly Advertise as necessary Goal is to have as many repeat customers as possible Receive and nurture leads and new contacts from owners or other Lions employees Keep contacts, leads, and opportunities lists up to date Qualify all new leads When a contact has a project to be bid, schedule site visit with the customer to determine the scope, timeline Prepare and send proposals, sell our services to ensure the best possible chance of winning jobs When we win a job: Negotiate contract with the customer as necessary Coordinate with Horizontal Superintendent Update project/team calendar so that we are managing resources Before/during the job Submit Purchase Orders to vendors for materials and labor needed Keep updated on project status reports from Horizontal Superintendent Invoice the customer when applicable Approve invoices to be paid to vendors when applicable After completion of the job, ensure the customer approves of the work Follow up, keep in touch with customers that have potential repeat projects You will be evaluated on: Number and dollar amount of proposals sent Number and dollar amount of proposals won Margin on projects brought in

Compensation:

The pay for this role will have a base salary and uncapped commission. The commission structure will be based on project margin.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required 5-7+ years of horizontal construction, construction management, and/or estimating experience Proven track record convert jobs from bids to contract Growth mindset and willingness to learn Match with our core values Proficient with computers, specifically gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets Strong communication skills, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail
