Description Reporting directly into aVp of Preconstruction, The Senior Estimator will be responsiblefor: Being a resource and a mentor to Estimators and JuniorEstimators on the team Determining the total cost of materials,equipment, utilities, and labor for construction projects.

Researching construction documents and analyzing specifications.

Preparing estimates for planning, organizing, and schedulingproject work. Managing pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.

Preparing estimates to meet project goals, such as setting workhours, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing the bestdeals with vendors and subcontractors. Ensuring that relevantdocuments and budgets are submitted before a bid deadline.

Regularly reporting to Management and keeping clients updated onthe project status. Formulating contingency plans and effectivelymanaging risks that might impact cost and time estimates. Keepingtrack of the latest estimating technology and industry-relatedtechniques. Collaborating with other teams, conducting site visits,and providing other services, like bid deliveries, when required.

Profile The successful Senior Estimator will have the followingexperience: 8 years of Construction estimating experience with aGeneral Contractor. Experience on Ground up or health care/ Pharmaprojects preferred Knowledge of scheduling, estimating, and costprinciples. Basic knowledge of project management Software A matureprofessional with excellent judgment. A highly entrepreneurial,self-motivated and results-oriented individual. Exceptionalcommunication skills (written and verbal) and intuitiveinterpersonal skills. Strong time management skills, adaptable withability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines, and keenattention to detail Job Offer The Senior Estimator can expect in anoffer: Above market base salary up to $145K Yearly bonus based onindividual and company performance Vehicle allowance Excellentbenefits including market leading health coverage, 401k, etc.
