With a strong reputation and healthy project pipeline, we’re growing and looking for a motivated Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to join our team. Job Summary As our Estimator / Preconstruction Manager, you’ll play a critical role in early-stage project planning and execution—developing accurate cost estimates, coordinating with design teams, and supporting proposal efforts. This is a high-impact position with a direct line to leadership and the opportunity to shape our preconstruction process. Key Responsibilities Prepare conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates for commercial projects ($1M-$20M) Review drawings, specs, and RFPs to produce accurate quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids Collaborate with in-house architects, engineers, and clients during preconstruction Support business development and proposal efforts Maintain estimating tools and historical cost data Qualifications 5+ years in commercial construction estimating or preconstruction Proficiency with estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar) Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred) What We Offer Competitive pay and bonus potential Health, dental, and 401(k) benefits Paid time off and holidays Supportive team culture with room to grow Long-term career path with leadership visibility
