Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities:

As a Junior Engineer you will be an integral part of the Engineering team. Under the direction of our lead engineer, you will be collaborating on some of the amazing projects we build. This role will provide you the opportunity to develop new skills and contribute to our dynamic team culture. You may also be able to help with a raising or two. Travel related to this full-time, non-exempt role will be less than 5%. This role will be based in our Walpole, NH office. Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis on light wood frame and small mass timber structures, including gravity and lateral analysis
  • Size members, design connections,
  • Plan and design foundations, floor & roof framing, and timber frame structures following construction and government codes and standards, using analysis software, excel spreadsheets, and 3d and 2d CAD drawing tools
  • Provide technical advice regarding design, construction and structural alternatives to timber framers, carpenters, architects, construction managers, and sales associates Additional Information Help for Additional Information.   • B.S. in structural, mechanical, or civil engineering
  • Information Modeling Computer Aided Design study or experience
  • E.I.T. preferred

  • Strong verbal and written skills
