Project Estimator William N. Lamarre Concrete Products, Inc. 87 Adams Hill Road, Greenville, NH 03048 William N. Lamarre Concrete Products Inc. is a second-generation, family-owned company established in 1960 and has been providing outstanding products and services in the New Hampshire and Massachusetts area ever since. We specialize in manufacturing septic tanks, commercial tanks, box culverts, dry wells, manholes, steps, bulkheads, wall blocks, fire cisterns, specialty tanks, tunnel tanks, and much more! Lamarre Concrete is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual for our fast-paced environment as a Project Estimator to join our team & grow with us . Preference is shown to candidates with prior construction estimating experience, but we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates strong potential and willingness to learn. This position offers growth into a leadership position with oversight of the estimating team. This position is responsible for evaluating construction takeoffs related to our product line of precast concrete and wastewater-related products and the related resale items we carry. This is a hands-on position that begins with customer contact and includes creating estimates and then providing support from production through delivery of the complete job. This is a full-time, year-round, in-person position in Greenville NH , with an excellent benefits package. Schedule 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Availability for overtime subject to the company needs and project pipeline. Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to understand the scope of work as provided by contractors, engineers, etc. Accurately assess material, labor, and equipment required for the project. Estimators must ensure their material take-off is comprehensive and includes all special material purchases required to complete the job. Collaborate with team members, project managers, customers/contractors, and engineers to gather necessary information for estimates. Work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail at all times while preparing timely, detailed, and accurate cost estimates for all precast concrete products and resale items. Problem-solve design conflict through a collaborative effort with customers, engineers, and our team members. Prioritize deadlines for multiple jobs, while keeping an open line of communication with all customers, management, and other team members. Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors/vendors. Review supplier quotes, collaborate with Accounts Payable to establish project-specific pricing, and ensure that once an estimate is approved, orders are placed for all necessary items. All other duties as assigned with the flexibility to change focus as needed.

Qualifications High School diploma or GED 2+ years of experience or a degree in the building/construction design industry preferred but not required. On-site experience a PLUS. 2-year construction management, estimating, civil engineering or similar field is preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of precast concrete products is preferred. Knowledge of construction estimating is preferred. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus. Knowledge of construction take-offs related to our product lines is preferred. Some knowledge of wastewater pumps and the commercial and residential onsite wastewater industry is a plus. Written communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft office programs. Ability to evaluate project requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for projects of all sizes. Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications related to our products. Ability to write quotes in detail. Ability to multitask.
