The Drywall Estimator will be responsible for assessing project requirements and preparing accurate cost estimates for drywall installation and related services. This role requires a strong understanding of drywall construction processes and excellent analytical skills to ensure competitive and profitable project bids. Key Responsibilities Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall installation and associated services
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate bidding
Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to create comprehensive estimates
Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
Provide support during the bidding process and respond to client inquiries regarding estimates
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices to enhance estimating accuracy Qualifications 5+ years commercial drywall estimating experience
Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
Proficiency with OST software
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits
