Lead Handyman / Field Estimator (Hands-On Role) M&M Handyman Services Londonderry, NH Flexible Hours | Room to Grow Tired of being just a cog in someone else’s machine? Want to take ownership of your projects from start to finish — planning, estimating, and doing the hands-on work yourself? M&M Handyman Services is looking for a skilled, motivated handyman or handywoman who’s equally comfortable assessing and quoting a project as they are painting a two-story home, installing flooring, or framing a wall. This isn’t just a desk or managerial role — it’s a hands-on, lead position. You’ll be the face of the company on-site, with the tools (and support) to do things right.

What You’ll Do:

Perform home repairs and improvements as the lead tech on-site (this is a hands-on role) Oversee any assigned helper/apprentice — lead by example Scope out and quote jobs in person; source supplies from local vendors (Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.) Work across multiple trades: drywall, painting, light carpentry, flooring, tiling, light plumbing/electrical, gutter cleaning, light yardwork, pressure washing, etc. Take before/after photos and update job details in our internal system Communicate directly with clients, collect payments, and request reviews Show up prepared, professional, and respectful of clients’ homes (booties, drop cloths, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:

3-5+ years of hands-on experience in handyman work, renovations, or general construction Ability to accurately estimate and quote labor/materials for small to mid-size jobs Proficiency in at least 3+ trades : drywall, painting, carpentry, flooring, tiling, light electrical/plumbing, etc. A problem-solver who can work independently and think on your feet Reliable communication and respectful customer service Your own set of tools (we’ll fill in the gaps as needed) Valid driver’s license , reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, use ladders, and stay active all day Comfortable working indoors, in basements, or outdoors High school diploma or equivalent preferred – (Trade school is obviously great) Able to provide past work references or photos of completed projects Why Join M&M Handyman Services? $25-$30/hr starting wage depending on experience Raises + bonuses based on performance and reliability Branded company gear (tees, polos, hats) No weekend work required (unless you want the hours!)
