The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, specifically in multi-family and mixed-use developments. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure that all aspects of the project are accounted for in the bid process. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates. Collaborate with project managers and architects to determine project requirements and specifications. Conduct quantity take-offs and analyze labor, material, and overhead costs. Prepare and submit detailed and comprehensive bid proposals to clients. Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the most competitive pricing for materials and services. Track and manage project costs during the preconstruction phase to ensure budget compliance. Assist in the development and implementation of estimating processes and tools. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction, with a focus on multi-family and mixed-use projects. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Proficiency in estimating software and tools. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
