A civil construction project manager oversees the planning,coordination, and execution of infrastructure projects such asroads, bridges, and buildings, ensuring they are completed on time,within budget, and to specified quality standards. They manageteams, liaise with stakeholders, handle procurement, and resolveany issues that arise during the construction process. ClientDetails Our client is one of New Jersey’s most well respectedgeneral contractors. They have a large backlog of heavy civil,highway, bridge, tunnel and utilities experience. The ProjectManager will have opportunity to learn about all different areas ofconstruction. They’re offering fantastic benefits, 401K, carallowance, phone allowance and bonus potential. Description Project Planning:
Developdetailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
BudgetManagement:
Estimate costs, manage budgets, and ensure financialefficiency.
Resource Allocation:
Coordinate labor, materials, andequipment needed for construction.
Team Leadership:
Superviseconstruction teams, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with building codes,regulations, and safety standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
Actas the main point of contact between clients, engineers,architects, and other stakeholders.
Progress Monitoring:
Trackproject milestones and adjust plans to stay on schedule.
ProblemSolving:
Address delays, risks, and unexpected issues promptly.
Quality Control:
Oversee inspections and ensure work meets therequired standards.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records ofproject progress, changes, and approvals. Profile 3 years ofexperience in Construction Project Management Heavy civilconstruction experience preferred Degree in Engineering,Architecture or Construction Management Working knowledge ofskilled trades including underground, concrete work, siteexcavation and grading. Working knowledge of constructiontechnology and details.
