Estimator (80 – 140K)
Due to retirement we have an opening available for an Estimator at an established and growing heavy civil contractor near the Fulton, NY area.
This is a great opportunity for someone who brings strong estimating experience, particularly with DOT style infrastructure and is looking for stability, growth, and a hands-on, collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret engineering plans and prepare detailed cost estimates.
Participate in project planning and field visits.
Use HeavyBid (HCSS) and InSite software.
Collaborate with other estimators, superintendents, and clients.
Help track project costs and schedules from concept through completion.

Experience:
Experience in heavy civil estimating (storm, sewer, water, culverts, concrete, paving etc.)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency in construction management software (HeavyBid, Insite) or related.
Highly trustworthy, collaborative, and self-driven.
