Project Manager & Project Estimator Position Available In Steuben, New York

Project Manager & Project Estimator Frey & Campbell, Inc. Hammondsport, NY 14840 Frey & Campbell, Inc. is a Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Plumbing contractor based out of Hammondsport, N.Y. that is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong analytical background who is excited to be a member of a professional, ever evolving team. This position’s responsibilities include that of a construction Project Manager and Estimator that is primarily office based with occasional travel to local construction project sites.

Project Manager duties and responsibilities:

Over the course of a construction project, the Project Manager will need to communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule. Important responsibilities for a Project Manager include: Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project changes Proficiency in Microsoft Office required CAD/BIM drafting experience a plus Estimator duties and responsibilities: Analyzing project design drawings and specifications to gain a thorough understanding of the project Determining what factors of construction will influence the cost of a service or product Preparing material and labor cost estimates for the construction project Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors Managing bids from vendors and contractors Presenting prepared estimates to management Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
