Job Details JobDetails:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Estimator tojoin our dynamic team. This position plays a pivotal role in ourengineering department, serving as the primary point of contact forpricing requests and cost estimation. The ideal candidate shouldhave a strong background in engineering, with a keen eye fordetail, superior analytical skills, and a deep understanding ofcost forecasting. If you have a passion for problem-solving, aknack for numbers, and a desire to work in a fast-paced,high-stakes environment, this may be the perfect opportunity foryou.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates byanalyzing plans and specifications and performing quantitytake-offs for select trades. 2. Review and evaluate cost estimatesto ensure accuracy and completeness. 3. Work with Project Managersto plan, organize and schedule estimation work. 4. Prepare andpresent cost reports, including forecasts, and project financialconditions. 5. Analyze pricing requests from clients and provideaccurate estimates. 6. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractorsto obtain pricing information. 7. Review design options andrecommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, oravailability of materials. 8. Evaluate offers to purchase bycosting changes, additions, and site requirements. 9. Maintain acomprehensive database of materials, labor, and equipment costs.10. Continually enhance knowledge of construction materials andpricing trends to factor into estimates.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, orrelated field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in costestimation, preferably within the engineering industry. 3.Proficient in computer software programs such as MS Office,AutoCAD, and estimation software. 4. Exceptional analytical andmathematical abilities. 5. Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills. 6. Demonstrated ability to manage multipleprojects and meet deadlines. 7. Strong understanding of engineeringconcepts and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technicaldrawings. 8. Proven ability to work in a team and coordinate withother departments. 9. In-depth knowledge of construction methods,materials, and legal regulations. 10. A professional certificationin cost estimation or project management is a plus. Interested inhearing more?
