PLUMBING ESTIMATOR
– Water/Wastewater Construction Industry PSI Pumping Solutions, Inc. 400 Main Street, York Springs, PA 17372 PSI Pumping Solutions, Inc. is a construction company that specializes in the construction, maintenance, and repair of water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations. We have an immediate opening for an Estimator in our Construction Department whose responsibility is to develop estimates for projects based on customer-provided plans and specifications.
Specific functions include:
Actively searches for new projects to bid. Reviews construction documents (i.e., plans and specs) and understands the scope of work to bid. Attends pre-bid conferences and site visits, as required. Executes take-offs of construction documents. Solicits, obtains, and files pricing from vendors and subcontractors. Maintains estimates in estimating software for all bids. Informs the position manager immediately of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in the project documents, quotes, and/or bids. Ensures bidding documents are accurately completed for submission. Generates quotes, if needed. Develops and maintains a resource database on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc. Attends turnover meetings with Position Manager and Project Manager to review awarded projects. Builds and maintains favorable relationships with vendors, subcontractors, customers, engineers, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
