Estimator, Architectural Woodwork/Millwork Confidential Allison Park, PA 15101

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel for architectural woodwork and millwork material take off, as well as complete pricing estimates Must display considerable experience in interior woodwork estimating and contracting Must be experienced in compiling a complete subcontract scope and pricing to present to clients Must be an Accountable person, taking full responsibility for the project and its performance Clearly communicate with clients on project timelines along with expectations for product Maintain a strong flow of communication throughout each phase of the project and ensure quality assurance with client expectations for each project. Set expectations regarding level of detail in the drawings and completion schedule for shop drawings Review all shop drawings prior to submittal in order to make certain the drawings are correct and in accordance with project requirements Manage and coordinate change order requests during the project to ensure that they are approved prior to proceeding with said work Follow up to make sure that all formal paperwork is received from the customer. Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress Work with the client and their field personnel to address any issues or for obtaining field dimensions for the project Review current processes and over time change processes to ensure more efficiencies in the production process. Make strong business case and cost benefit for process change Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Must have proven successful Estimating experience running a Millwork-project Reading/Reviewing Architectural Drawings Excellent written and verbal communication skills to staff, clients, business owners (including time management and computer skills) Detail oriented and well organized Must have exceptional interpersonal skills Field experience (measuring / installing) a plus Apply to join our growing business and become part of our company culture of achieving excellence through teamwork, accountability and customer satisfaction in the completed product development.
