Job Summary TIME Manufacturing Company is seeking a Service Estimator to play a crucial role in the industry by providing accurate cost estimates for services rendered. This position involves analyzing project specifications, understanding client needs, and preparing detailed proposals that reflect the true cost of services. The end result is to ensure that the company remains competitive while also maintaining profitability through precise estimations. The Service Estimator will collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data and insights, ensuring that all estimates are comprehensive and reliable. Ultimately, this role is vital for fostering strong client relationships and supporting the overall growth of the organization. Key Responsibilities Review and prepare accurate service estimates. Collaborate with sales, operations, and management teams to gather necessary information for cost analysis. Utilize industry standards and historical data to inform pricing strategies and ensure competitive bids. Prepare and present detailed proposals to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Monitor and adjust estimates based on project changes or client feedback to maintain accuracy. Observe the safety precautions as required by the Company. Use and/or wear all safety equipment as required. Report any unsafe acts or equipment discovered while performing duties. Clean and maintain work area. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Prior automotive repair estimation. Ability to lift and manipulate 50 pounds. Ability to use tools as required to perform minor repairs. Ability to work in a group or team to repair and maintain equipment. Ability to work unsupervised in certain conditions to perform tasks. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment subject to heat, cold, noise, dust, and odors. Ability to work shifts as required by the Company. Excellent problem-solving skills. Good communication skills. Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
