Estimator Gore Construction 350 Currytown Rd, North Augusta, SC 29860 Overview We are seeking an experienced estimator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the construction process by accurately assessing project costs and ensuring that budgets align with project specifications. This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction estimating, and the ability to negotiate effectively with contractors and suppliers. Duties Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for projects. Coordinate and develop detailed project budgets and timelines. Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms. Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and make adjustments as necessary. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information for accurate estimating. Prepare detailed reports outlining estimates, including breakdowns of costs associated with labor, materials, equipment, and overhead. Meet with clients to understand project scope and requirements. Continually look for new project opportunities. Experience Experience in construction estimating. Strong understanding of cost control measures within the construction industry. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
