The Construction Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project plans, determining costs, and preparing accurate estimates for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and project management, with a focus on cost control and negotiation.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
• Prepare and present estimates to clients, highlighting key cost factors and potential value engineering opportunities
• Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive bids
• Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process, making adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in construction costs

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Commercial and High-End Residential Construction Estimator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
