Electrical Estimator/Project Manager Sandlin Electrical, LLC Moncks Corner, SC 29461 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, project management, and construction management. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to effectively control costs while ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. Duties Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation. Perform take-offs from drawings; price change orders. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with NEC standards. Utilize software tools such as McCormick for project documentation and cost estimation. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to safety regulations. Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms. Implement cost control measures to track project expenses and maintain budget integrity. Prepare detailed reports on project status for stakeholders, highlighting any risks or changes in scope. Requirements Proven experience in electrical project management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and electrical systems. Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore and Bluebeam. Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes. Ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and subcontractors. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Understand plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed and to ensure compliance with project requirements. • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
