The career opportunity for you:

We are currently searching for an Estimator to be a part of our Life Safety Division. Our Life Safety Division designs and installs world class fire alarm systems for our many valued customers. The estimator will work as a member of a team to prepare detailed takeoffs, counts, and scope summaries (Prebid and Post bid). The job duties for this position include but not limited to: Review and interpret project documents including drawings/blueprints/sketches, specifications, and contract . Identify labor, material, and time requirements to perform work. Prepare detailed takeoffs, counts, and scope summaries. Aid in product research and data entry.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Excel and Word. Willingness and ability to visit job sites and facility tours. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Time management and organizational skills. Ability to work with a team or independently. Working Knowledge of commercial or industrial low voltage systems. Knowledge and understanding of industry applications; ability to read and understand drawings and specifications. Must possess a valid driver’s license

Experience:

1-2 years of construction estimating. Prior work with on-screen take-off software. For the
