Commercial Estimator Unit Paving Inc 8123 Charlotte Hwy, Fort Mill, SC 29707 Job Overview We are seeking an Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate pricing and cost control for our projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Experience is not mandatory for the right person. Duties Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Collaborate with project managers to assess project requirements and constraints. Build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms. Utilize Sage, Procore, Sage Estimating software for estimating processes and maintain organized records of all estimates. Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimating- if needed • Experience Strong skills in cost control and project management principles. Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and team members. Experience working on construction sites is preferred but not mandatory.
