Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team and lead our awesome group of three estimating professionals. The Estimator will play a critical role in managing the functions of the estimating operations, ensuring compliance with client expectations, and providing strategic guidance to support the company’s growth objectives. This role requires a strong foundation in roofing estimating principles, extensive experience with estimating software systems, and a proven track record of leadership in the construction industry.

The Estimator is responsible for:

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee commercial roofing estimates Planning and defining scope Review and approve shop drawings and submittals Resource Planning Schedule pre-roofing conference before roofing work begins Prepare material lists orders for jobs Secure signed contractors and work with office on payment terms, bonds, and other items needed Provide support as required for materials, schedule, and cost information Prepare and/or review estimates for approval before submitting Prepare estimates needed for change orders and maintain communication to ensure Change Orders are prepared and signed before proceeding with additional work Keep company informed of all pending and approved change orders Attend Weekly Schedule Meetings as needed Ability to read plans & blueprints And much more!

Experience requirements:

MUST have 10+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience MUST have 3+ years of EDGE software experience Although you may be hired to a specific role you will be asked to cross-train on other functions, this will simply help you be successful in your career.
