This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a MondayThursday schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (4x10s). Starting pay is $20.00/hr.
Job Duties:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and material suppliers
- Coordinate and distribute bid requests to trade partners
- Assist in estimating labor, materials, and overall project costs
- Track submitted bids and follow up on pending opportunities
- Order materials based on approved quotes and estimates
- Compile and organize submittal packages for awarded projects
- Complete contract forms and other required documentation
- Create and maintain project schedules of values
- Support smooth project handoff to Operations team
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to contribute to a team and support senior estimators
- Proficiency with basic computer tasks and office equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required (post-secondary education preferred but not required)
- Experience in construction sales, estimating, or as a commercial electrician
