Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented EstimatingManager to oversee and manage project estimates for new businessopportunities. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge ofthe service industry in a construction-related role, strong biddingexperience, and a deep understanding of heavy machinery moving andinstallation services. This role involves travel to client sites toassess project requirements and ensure accurate, competitive, andprofitable estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the estimating process for all new projects, ensuringaccurate, competitive, and profitable bids. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and sales teams togather detailed project requirements. Conduct site visits to assess project scope, conditions, and anypotential challenges. Develop detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials,equipment, and subcontractor costs. Prepare and present proposals and bids to leadership andclients. Monitor market trends and costs to ensure competitive pricing. Refine and improve estimating processes and tools to increaseefficiency and accuracy. Maintain and update historical cost databases to improve futureestimates. Ensure all estimates comply with company policies, safetystandards, and client expectations.

Qualifications:

Strong experience in a service-oriented, construction-related role,preferably in heavy machinery moving and installation. Proven track record in estimating and bidding processes. Familiarity with project management principles and constructionmethodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability tocollaborate with diverse teams and clients. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in heavy industry, engineering services, or similarfields. Understanding of logistical challenges associated with heavymachinery moving and installation.
