Job Title:

Glassing Estimator
Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join a reputable glassing company. If you have experience in estimating glassing projects and a strong understanding of the industry, we want to hear from you. Join our team and play a key role in delivering accurate and competitive project estimates.

Responsibilities:

Review project requirements, specifications, and drawings to assess scope and client needs.
Conduct on-site evaluations and measurements for accurate information gathering.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure understanding and address clarifications.
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, considering materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
Analyze project risks, issues, and contingencies for accurate estimates.
Present estimates to clients, explaining scope, costs, and considerations.
Coordinate with procurement and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
Maintain accurate records of estimating activities.

Requirements:

5+ years of proven experience as an Estimator in the glassing or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of glassing projects and installation methods.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and proficiency in estimating software.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Comfortable looking at Storefronts, custom glass, doors, windows, railings
Experience working with $250k-$5 million with $1-2 million as the average
Familiar with PartnerPak and Bluebeam
