Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Preconstruction Estimator to join our team in Franklin, Tennessee. This role involves estimating costs for healthcare ground-up facilities, ensuring accurate and competitive bids. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, particularly in healthcare projects.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for healthcare ground-up facilities.
Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information.
Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
Review and evaluate subcontractor bids for accuracy and completeness.
Present estimates and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in healthcare projects.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
