Full Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:

Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop detailed cost estimates. Analyze material, labor, and equipment requirements to determine project costs. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing. Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential challenges. Prepare and assist in presenting bid proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns and schedules. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to clarify project requirements. Maintain accurate records of estimates, assumptions, and supporting documentation. Monitor industry trends and material costs to ensure up-to-date pricing data. Assist in value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality. Participate in pre-bid meetings, negotiations, and client presentations as needed. Must be a team player and able to work with all internal and external clients and alongside internal departments daily. Be able to work longer hours if necessary to ensure the project deadline is met. Actively involved in self-development. Perform other activities as may be temporarily or permanently assigned. Required to report to the office each day during normal business hours.

Experience and Special Skills:

Knowledge of landscape and pool process Ability to communicate complex ideas. Competitive nature and eagerness to help others. Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time, and resource management skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
