Pay Grade:
$60,000-$90,000 depending on experience Reports to: VP /
Director of Plumbing Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting the team in the estimating process Perform accurate takeoffs from blueprints using take off software FastPipe . Understanding project goals and deadlines and determining the scope of work and required contents of the estimate Analyzable drawings, specifications and project manual Identify potential errors or omissions on plans and bid documents Creating estimate folders Soliciting and evaluating vendor quotes and following up Developing and writing proposals with detailed qualifications and cost breakdowns on excel Manage multiple simultaneous estimating projects with consistent on-time Assist in maintaining project sub bidders contact list
Required Experience and Knowledge:
Associate’s degree or related field preferred Some experience in construction estimating preferred Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Familiarity with construction contracts and pricing strategies preferred Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly Highly organized and detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills Diligence and attention to detail Acute sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadline Benefits Biweekly Pay Medical, Dental, Vision plans Free Basic Life Insurance Voluntary Life Short and Long Term Disability Company matched 401K Paid Holidays Paid Time off
