Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled, organized, and detail-oriented Project Manager / Estimator specializing in Commercial Roofing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in estimating, bidding, and overseeing roofing projects from start to finish. This will include managing multiple roofing projects simultaneously; working with general contractors, crew leaders, superintendents, sales reps, and vendors; managing crews, materials, budgets, and schedules; and ensuring quality control and safety on all roofing installations and repairs across a variety of systems and manufacturers. Your expertise will be crucial to ensuring project profitability and success. Key Responsibilities Review project information – scope of work, materials, etc. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and related bid documents to estimate material, labor, and equipment costs. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for quotes. Stay updated on roofing trends, materials, and industry best practices. Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate and competitive bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns for labor, materials, and equipment costs. Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits to collect project data. Coordinate and manage assigned roofing projects – from the planning stage through completion Oversee daily management of assigned crews/projects – Multiple check-ins daily and/or site visits. This position is 50% field work. Prepare submittals for contract projects Document communications and progress throughout project Qualifications High school degree or equivalent required, associate’s degree or higher preferred Valid driver’s license in good standing Bilingual preferred but not required. Minimum 2 years of proven experience in commercial/industrial roofing Project Management Expertise in roofing systems, materials, and installation methods. Experience in commercial/industrial roofing estimating preferred Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
